Day 3:

Drive to Tawang (140 kms / Approx.6 hrs drive). En-route
visit Sella Pass at 13,700 ft, Jaswant Garh, Dzong water fall.
Overnight stay in Hotel or Tourist Lodge.
Day 4:
Tawang
Tawang perched at a height of over 10,000 ft, is world-
renowned for its 400-year-old Buddhist Monastery, one of the
biggest in India. The Monastery was founded by the monk
Mera Lama, a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. The
sixth Dalai Lama was born here. The Tawang Monastery has an interesting
collection of Thangkas (Tibetan painting on cloth) and a large gilded statue of
Sakyamuni (the historical Buddha) in the prayer hall. The Tawang Monastery,
also known as the -Galden Namgyal Lhatse-, is beautifully situated on a spur
about 2 km from the heart of the town. Overnight in Hotel
Day 5:
Bomdila
Drive to Bomdila (181 kms / Approx.8 hrs drive).Overnight
stay at hotel.
Day 6:
Bomdila

Nameri
Morning visit the Craft Centre, producing very fine carpets of
colourful designs and masks and the Buddhist monasteries
Afternoon drive to Nameri (110 kms / Approx. 4 hrs drive).
Overnight stay in Eco-Camp.
