Early morning visit to football ground near the Shillong Peak
(The path is quite overgrown, rough clothes recommended).
They are apparantly few recent records of Tawny-breasted
Wren Babbler. Grey Sibias, Russet Sparrows, Spotted
Forktail, Mountain Bulbuls. Return to hotel for lunch. After lunch visit to old
Guwahati Road to see Grey Sibias, Blue Throated Barbets, Orange Bellied
Leafbirds, Scarlet Minivets, Bar Winged Flycatcher Shrikes, Large
Woodshrikes, Chestnut-tailed Starlings, Green-backed Tits, Yellow-cheeked
Tits, Black Bulbul, Rufescent Prinias, Buff-barred Warblers, Yellow-browed
Warblers (commonest Warbler), Grey Hooded Warbler, Silver-eared Mesias,
White-browed Shrike Babblers, Blue-winged Minlas, Straited Yuhinas and
Fire-tailed Sunbirds can be observed.Overnight stay in Shillong.
Day 9:

After early breakfast drive to Guwahati airport (130 kms / 3-
hrs drive) to connect flight for onward destination.
