Day 7:
-
Leave in the morning for a full day drive to Leh. Today we
ascend three passes. First Buddhist village will be Mulbek.
We cross the highest pass (Fotula 4166 mtrs.) on Srinagar
Leh route. At lunchtime we will be at Lamayuru oldest
Monastery. Continue drive to next village Nimu a view of Zanskar River
following into Indus. Finally we reach Leh 3500 mtrs. Overnight at hotel.
Day 8:
Morning free for personal activities and at leisure. Afternoon
half day tour of Phyang, Spituk and Shanker Gompa.
Overnight at hotel.
Day 9:
-
Full day excursion to Khardongla pass which is the highest
motorable pass in the world 5600 mtrs and has been
recorded in the Gunnies Book of World Records. At the top
enjoy the nature beauty of snow capped mountains. In the
late
afternoon return back to the hotel. Overnight at hotel.
Day 10:
-
Transfer in time to the airport to connect flight to Delhi. On
arrival in Delhi, transfer to the hotel for wash 'n' change and
proceed to international airport for connecting flight to onward
destination.
