Jaipur

Pushkar
After breakfast visit Amber Fort - remarkable for the majestic
grandeur of its surroundings as for its sturdy battlements and
beautiful palaces. Climb up to the fort on The back of an
Elephant or by jeeps.After early lunch leave
for Pushkar (4 hrs. drive). Enroute visit Ajmer. Ajmer is famous for the Tomb
of the Sufi Saint, Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti the Dargah Sharif.Arrive Pushkar
and stay at a hotel tented accommodation.Pushkar is Sacred town and lies
11 kms north east of Ajmer. According to mythology, the Pushkar lake is
supposed to have appeared miraculously when a lotus flower fell from the
hands of Lord Brahma and dropped into this valley. On Kartik Poornima,
thousands of pilgrims come to bathe in the holy waters of the Pushkar Lake.
The fair is overwhelming in its magnitude and its visual impact. Colorful
bazaars are set up, camels are paraded and also bought and sold.Evening

Day 5:
Pushkar
Morning after breakfast full day free to explore the famous
Pushkar fair. The Pushkar Fair, or Pushkar ka Mela, is the
annual five-day camel and livestock fair, held in the town of
Pushkar in the state of Rajasthan, India. It is
one of the world's largest camel fairs, and apart from buying and selling of
livestock it has become an important tourist attraction and its highlights have
become competitions such as the "matka phod", "longest moustache", and
"bridal competition" are the main draws for this fair which attracts thousands
of tourists.Thousands of people go to the banks of the Pushkar Lake where
the fair takes place. Men buy and sell their livestock, which includes camels,
cows, sheep and goats [1]. The women go to the stalls, full of bracelets,
clothes, textiles and fabrics. A camel race starts off the festival, with music,
songs and exhibitions to follow. Between these events, the most waited for is
