Jaipur

Samode
After B/fast Proceed for Samode Check in at hotel Samode Palace. The
ecstasy that is called the Samode palace is the one is better experienced
than read. Samode palace is hardly 40 kms from the capital of the state
Jaipur and can
be reached by road with an hour and a half. According to the historical
evidences, Samode was a flourishing state of the Nathawat clan from Chomu,
a branch of the house of Amber and was among the wealthiest territories of
the Amber kingdom. The palace is the perfect example of Rajput-Mughal
architecture and is built over a small hillock and planned in a progression of
courtyards of increasing height. The extravagantly decorated Durbar Hall and
the Sheesh Mahal are the prime attractions of this fabulous palace. It was
converted into a Heritage Hotel in 1987. Evening you can spend time taking
the Camel cart rides etc. Overnight stay at the Samode palace.

Pushkar
Morning drive to Pushkar after breakfast and check in to hotel upon arrival.
Freshen up and proceed for a visit to the famous temples of Pushkar.
Pushkar is one of the oldest cities of India. Pushkar lies on the shore of
Pushkar
Lake. The date of its actual origin is not known, but legend associates Lord
Brahma with its creation. It is mentioned that Brahma performed penance
here for 60,000 years to have a glimpse of Vishnu. Pushkar has many
temples. Every year on the day of Karthik Purnima, that is the full moon day
in the month of Karthik (this year from 2 – 10 November 2011), the famous
Pushkar fair is held here. People from all over the country come to take the
holy dip. The town comes alive with folk dancers and musicians who come
from all the regions to show their talent. Joyful celebration, cultural variety
and cattle market make Pushkar fair famous. This fair is one of the major
cultural reflectors of the sate of Rajasthan. This is a five day affair when the
small town comes alive with cultural activities and vibrant energy. Visit the
famous annual Pushkar Camel Fair. Return to the hotel for night stay.
